About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, enthusiastic and positive. I like working with kids because it makes my own inner child happy and I have my own dreams of being a mother one day. I started working with kids when I was a teenager I would always care for my younger siblings and eventually I moved into professionally taking care of children as I got older. My skills include patience as a child requires a patient approach. Effective communication skills helps build the trust with both children and their parents/guardians. I believe also in being flexible and adaptable as it allows me as a caregiver to handle various situations and cater to individual needs and preferences for each parent/child.
