About Tyler

I am a MFA Graduate Student of Rutgers University, and have had over 15 years of experience working with children. My theater and communication background give me the ability to both educate children while still maintaining a fun and creative environment. I've taught large groups of children ages 3 years old - 12 years old in Sunday school and VBS. In addition, I've worked at a school for children with language based learning disabilities, teaching drama exercises with a final performance as the end goal. My nanny experience is with children from 2 weeks old to 11 years old. I love reading, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, all while mixing education into the mix to help cultivate the idea that learning can be fun! I have taken a number of years in French, and tend to use it in my daily vocabulary, so don't be surprised if your child responds to you in French. I know the importance of a child being well-rounded, and I hope that I am able to be a good influence.
