About Tuija

I started as a personal career in 2008 in Finland. First with a gentleman, who had paraplegia and later with a lady suffering from Multiple sclerosis. I then attended a college and qualified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. After one year working in a council owned nursing home, I returned to the UK, where I worked in a neurological unit, where the patients were suffering from complex disorders. I am familiar with community ventilators, EPAP & CPAP machines, tracheostomies, deep suctioning, stomas, catheters, PEG feeding, blood sugar monitoring incl. insulin injections, some wound care etc. I moved to the US in September 2021 to care for my newly born grandson. I gained permanent residency last year and am now looking for personal care work preferably in a home setting. I am reliable, trustworthy and flexible. However, I am not able to work nights.
