About Trina

I'm Birdie, and am a former high school business teacher with a medical background. I've cared for students most of my career, but am also a former ACLS Certified EMT with 4 years of experience on a mobile intensive care unit. I also have experience in the hospital lab, ER, med floor, and pediatric floor, as well as in the ICU. My grandfather recently passed away from complications due to Alzheimer's and his age, and shortly after we lost my grandmother and my uncle. I'm comfortable sitting with loved ones as they cross over in hospice care. My favorite thing about working with seniors is listening to their stories from their past experiences, helping them document, organize, clean out, and enjoy leisure time writing letters, reading, puzzles, and paper crafting. The library is my favorite place to be. I'd love to meet you to see if we are a good fit! Iinteract with just about anyone. She's very mature and a joy to have around. She is a theater kid about to go to college.
