About Tosca

Hello, My name is Tosca and I have a long history of working with and caring for children. I started babysitting at 14 and also helped my mom with her daycare throughout high school. I took a break from childcare in college, but after graduating spent time as a live in nanny as well as taking on other more sporadic babysitting roles over the years. I spent two years working as a teaching assistant to various 3rd grade classes that would attend Amherst Cinema for a storytelling program, See Hear Feel Film. That program was sadly canceled at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. I am a very creative person an have many artistic passions such as photography, music, poetry and storytelling. I feel there are endless ways to encourage self esteem and creativity through engaging with art and play and am looking forward to the enriching work of caring for children again soon.
