About Tonya

My name is Tonya. I received an Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Memphis and a Master's in Special Education from Cambridge College. I received a certification in Instructional Design Technology in 2020 from the University of Memphis. In addition to this, I will complete a Certification in Literacy from the University of Memphis in 2021. I currently teach in the special education (Exceptional Children) program. I have over 15 years of experience in the classroom. I am highly certified to teach Literacy and English Language Arts. I have been tutoring students privately outside of the classroom since 2015. I have extensive experience and training with students who have social, behavioral, and educational challenges. I develop an individualized tutoring plan for each student. I have the education, background, and training to develop programs to cater to your child's specific educational and social needs during our tutoring sessions.
