About Tirzah

While I have several strong years as a CNA, I spent very little time as an RN only to step away from Nursing altogether to work on self care and to take care of some family. My first 3 years as a CNA I worked for Hospice of St John in Lakewood, CO and found my passion for serving others. After hospice I began nursing school and worked for an agency that staffed me at St Anthony and Lutheran Hospital. I've worked different units from oncology to neurology, med-surg, rehab, etc. After acquiring my RN license in 2009 I worked at Rangely Hospital for just under a year when I knew it was time to take a break. After 4 years as a chef, I found my way back to nursing by way of my grandmother who needed total care. Since then the past 5 years I've been a private caregiver to retired medical professionals and have been so honored to be a part of their team. I'm no longer in Colorado!

We hired TJ in August to help with my husband who has ALS. She has been an incredible blessing to him and to me with all that she does. Her nursing background has been incredibly helpful in dealing with some of the issues we encounter as this disease progresses. She is friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to have in our home. She has performed the following types of work for my husband: bathing, toileting, hygiene tasks (nail trimming, shaving, tooth brushing, etc.), dressing, assisting with tube feeding and PEG tube care, light housekeeping, and super companion care.
