I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, patient and reliable. I like caring for seniors because they have the best stories to share! I admire and respect our Elders and believe it to be an honor to have the opportunity to care for them. I enjoy spending time with Elders and always provide care with love and dignity. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to work within my community helping Elders and people with disabilities live their best life! I have 17 years experience providing care for seniors with both physical challenges and dementia. Working in childcare and ministry I have worked with many people with disabilities. In my spare time, I like to Garden, crochet, work on embroidery projects and spend time with my family. My skills include mobility assistance, meal preparation, bathing assistance, medication management, companionship, gait belt, feeding, incontinence care, running errands, medical appointments, light cleaning, exercise, dressing.
