About Tessa

Hi there! I am a 19-year-old student attending Beloit College looking for a wonderful family to share my time with and help for the summer. I have babysat for about a year in my past, from April, 2020 to August, 2021. They were siblings - a lively 4-year-old, and a shy 7-year-old who happened to lie on the spectrum. It was a wonderful experience, and lead me to my passion of going into psychology and disability studies. I ended up working at the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association based out of Crystal Lake, IL, then a similar organization through the Belvedere Park District. During my time there, I became certified in First Aid, Adult and Infant CPR services, and Handle with Care. I am available for nanny and babysitting services any day of the week other than Tuesday between 10 and 1pm, Wednesday from 4:30 and 6:30, Thursday from 11 and 1pm, and Saturday from 12 and 2 p.m. I apologize, as I attend appointments often!
