About Tessa

I'd describe my personality as loving, compassionate, energetic. I like working with kids because kids are filled with amazing stories and an incredible imagination. They can teach us so much as adults and are the best company to have. I started working with kids when I was 12 and would babysit my younger sister. After that I would babysit all the neighborhood kids from ages 3 mo-15 yrs. I helped in equine therapy with kids with disabilities starting at 14. I worked at summer camps as a camp counselor and even helped as a counselor for kids during the pandemic on zoom. During college I worked as an assistant teacher at a Montessori childcare with ages 3 mo-6 yrs. And finally, in this last year I worked as a behavioral therapist working with kids with autism. In my spare time, I like to be outside enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air. I love to try new foods and restaurants as well. When I can I try to travel, but I also enjoying being at home and relaxing with a cup of coffee.
