About Tessa

I'd describe my personality as goofy, intelligent, kind, and determined. I have a background in children's education with lots of experience working in elementary schools. I am very well versed in up to date curriculum and teaching philosophies. Simply put, I love to teach! I'm looking for a job that has a steady routine and clearly communicated expectations. I started tutoring when I graduated from Texas State University in 2022. I then began working for Plano Independent School District. In my spare time, I like to ride my bike around my neighborhood, read, and watch old seasons of survivor with my parents. One thing you should know about me is I am up for almost anything! My skills include EC-6 TExES Core Curriculum knowledge, experience in teaching students from preschool all the way through 8th grade, I love to teach elementary math and readying.
