About Terri

I'd describe my personality as warm, empathetic, and attentive Last year we moved my brother into my home so that I could take care of him at the end of his life. Each day had so much purpose in being able to help someone who was so vulnerable. At the same time, I learned a lot about navigating the healthcare, caregiving, and hospice systems. They're not easy. I feel called to do this work at this time in my life. In my spare time, I like to be in my art room. I'm an art journaled and mixed enthusiast. Mostly I love spending time with my grandchildren whenever I can! One thing you should know about me is that I'm reliable and dependable. I'm a warm and caring person and making a connection with your loved one is as important to me as the tasks that need to be done. I think my too three caregiving skills are: building trust and connection, learning what's your loved ones needs and how they like to do things, and gently keeping us on task with what needs to be done
