Retired RN who loves spending time with elderly & enjoying their life experiences & wisdom. I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate & positive! I like caring for seniors because they deserve love, respect & attention. I'm looking for a job that is close to home, part time and where I can make a difference in someone's day. I started caring for seniors when I worked as a nurse. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, sew, crochet & read. One thing you should know about me is I love the Lord but am not pushy with my beliefs. My skills include dementia care, assisting with mobilization, showering & reminding clients to take medication, preparing meals and clean up, encouraging exercising safely and providing companionship.
