Thank you for viewing my profile. I am a Registered Nurse with 7 years of professional nursing experience. I have worked in the private duty area of nursing for the past 5 years, caring for children and young adults with severe disabilities and who are medically fragile. Currently, I am working primarily nights on the weekend, and have several weekdays available to pick up additional hours. I am flexible in my search - this does not have to be an RN level position, I would definitely consider care giving without the medical care component. In addition, I would consider post-surgical home care, temporary care, fill-in care, companionship care, light housework, cooking, errands, shopping, attending medical appointments, etc. In addition to my nursing experience, I have been a family caregiver for my daughter who was severely disabled, as well as providing support to both elderly parents prior to their passing. I understand the need for quality flexible care, and the importance of supporting a loved one as long as possible in the comfort of their own home.
