I hired Taylor for before school care for my daughter. She had a strong resume and references and was warm and friendly with my daughter. She was always on time and cheerful in the mornings... then she just stopped showing up. I had texted her Sunday night to confirm she'd be there Monday morning and she replied yes - when she was 10 minutes late on Monday I texted to see if she was on her way - no reply. I called and left her a voicemail later that day checking in and asking if she was ok .... no reply. I've been told this is typical of this generation but that doesn't make it right... just a message saying she couldn't commit any more would have allowed me to make other arrangements instead leaving me in a lurch.
