About Taylor

I'm currently a studying education, hoping to graduate my masters program dual-endorsed in elementary and special education in the next few years. Since 2011 I've been working with kids in a variety of education settings- summer camps, tutoring, after school classes, preschool, nannying, and museum education. I love all subjects- from math to art to history to science! I grew up internationally and really enjoy being able to connect with people in different languages and perspectives. I am conversational in ASL and Spanish; I have a minor understanding of Japanese. I'm an avid reader and writer. I started working with kids when I was 8 and my brother was born... but, really, when I was 17 and helping run a Paleontology camp for the San Diego Natural History Museum. In my spare time, I like to make art, skateboard, rock-climb, go on bike tours, help other people with their creative projects (music, film, etc.), and read. I'm Red Cross 1st aid/CPR certified.
