About Tatum

The past 2 years I've had the chance to spend time taking care of my grammy whom was dealing with medical issues. I would go over to her house, help her bath, make meals, watch tv, take her to doctors appointments and just be her friend. My poppop at the time was still working full time, so I would go over during the day to give him a break from the responsibilities that come with his wife. This past August my grammy suddenly passed away and I realized that the time spent with her was not just beneficial for her, but for myself as well. After losing my best friend, I am happy to say that the time spent with my grammy has opened up a new occupation I'd never thought i'd love this much; helping the elderly. I know how difficult it is to struggle work/school/personal time while also wanting to be there for someone you love. I hope I can help someone as much as I was able to help my grammy.
