I have two children who are now in their early 20's. I've worked with children, elderly, and people with cognitive disability, autism, ADHD, CP, Rett Syndrome, and Tourette Syndrome. The duties I've done were respite care, pet sitting, and housekeeping, Prepared and administered medications. wound care. Take clients to and from doctor appointments. Preparation of meals, cooking, and cleaning. Running errands and shopping. Being a companion. I love what I do. Each individual is different and unique. One of the key factors of taking care of a loved one is patience and understanding and what the other family members want for their loved ones. I've 2 hens, 2 geckos, & 1 chihuahua. I'm allergic to cats. I had cared for cats(leaving windows open and/or having the AC on). There's 2 cats that don't irritated me much(Persian angora & Sphinx cat).
