About Tara

I am a mom of 2 teenagers. I used to teach in the classroom and have a masters degree in education. I specialized in early childhood, literacy, math and technology. I am now the Director of Early Childhood for Detroit PBS. I greatly miss my time with little ones. My kids are flying the nest and I really just want to find joy in loving on little ones again! I am free most evenings. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, funny and kind I like working with kids because it is so rewarding. Young children's brains are growing and early childhood is such a critical part of that foundation. I started working with kids when I was a kid and have done it ever since!
