About Tanisha

I was taught to treat everyone with respect. I'm passionate about taking care of seniors, because I use to care for my grandmother, and I also know they're fragile, and they just want to be treated with kindness. I've also worked in a nursing home setting for the last 7 years, where I dress residents in appropriate clothing, follow safe lifting techniques, provided effective and routine oral hygiene, positioned residents for comfort to prevent skin pressure problems, assist with transfer of residents in and out of wheelchairs and adaptive equipment, pass meal trays and assist with feeding of residents, document all appropriate resident records before leaving shift daily, assist with resident activities inside of home and outside of home, observe residents and report all changes in condition immediately, participate in all tasks directed by my supervisor, and provide excellent customer service.
