About Tana

I have been teaching art (grades pre-K-8) for the past 26 years. I was a home daycare provider for 6 years before that. During that time, I cared for children ranging in age from 4 months to 7 years. I worked independently in Ulster county, beginning when my daughter was 10 months old. A years later, I moved to Rockland County and became certified as a home daycare provider. When My daughter entered Kindergarten, I began teaching at @ Catholic schools in Rockland County. I currently teach 4 days per week and care for my 15-month-old grandson 1 day per week. I am looking for part time child care for the summer months and possibly during the school year sporadically. I love children and have a kind and patient demeanor.
