l've been a caregiver for 6 years now. I was introduced to this line of work around the time my grandmother passed away. I took care of her in her last days and I enjoyed it. So I began to look for jobs where I could help seniors in their everyday living and just trying to make them more comfortable and happy. I started off being a Dsp which is a direct support professional. It's a person that assist people with disabilities. I enjoyed doing that then I started doing home health aid. This is a job I enjoy and that I'm passionate about. I'm happy that I've found my purpose!
