I grew up with grandparents since I was 5. They cared about me and then I cared about them. I love talking, listening, and laughing with seniors. Time-to-time I visit/ care for a senior, he's 95 years old and adores opera. I hate opera. But I can't explain how I ended up listening to opera for 2hours every time I visit him. It makes him so happy that I "love" opera during that time. This situation made me realize how much I love being around the older generation and making their years happier and more fun for them. When my grandpa died, he was like a father to me, I wasn't there to care for him and be by his side. Now, I try to share my respect and love towards seniors by caring for them, doing the job that I love.
