About Sydney

I'd describe my personality as calm, friendly, and adaptable. I like working with kids because every day is different. There is so much space for creativity and connection with the kids. I love the flexibility in what activities or lessons we work on each day. Watching each child grow into their personalities, and learn from their curiosity and experiences, never gets old! I'm looking for a job that holds similar values as me when it comes to teaching/nurturing children. Parents and I should also work together when coming up with action plans for their kids. I started working with kids when I was 16, as a summer time nanny. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, exercise, and trying new local restaurants. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and work well under pressure. My skills include providing engaging, age appropriate activities for the kids, staying patient and using a calm voice, and balancing when we should have high energy vs calmer energy.
