I have about 7 years working with people with disabilities. During the day I am an art instructor and Assistant Program Manager at a non-profit day program for adults with disabilities. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have witnessed and managed more than a fair share of seizures. I know how to assist with personal hygiene through and use hoyer lifts. I am able to mix thicket and prepare for according to different dietary needs. I have experience with a wide range of disabilities: CP, Down Syndrome, MS, autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic episodes, epilepsy, allergies, leaning disabilities... To name a few I also had brothers with ADHD and learning disabilities and have years of experience helping them with homework. Overall, I am experienced, patient and always willing to learn more.
