I'd describe my personality as kind, thoughtful, and respectful. I also like to have fun and enjoy spending time in laughter with others. I like caring for seniors because it gives me the opportunity to express compassion and empathy as well as joy in getting to know them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my gifts to help older adults feel safe, secure, and cared for. I started caring for seniors when my mom had a stroke. She was an amazing woman who made the world a better place. She always cared for others. The opportunity to serve her in her years of need was a gift. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I love to be outdoors. I like to play board games and enjoy doing puzzles. My faith is very important to me. I am a Roman Catholic. I am a retired human services professional who spent a career working to help others. In my retirement I would like help families by caring for older adults. My skills include listening, patience, & communication.
