I'm 36 years old and have my bachelor's degree of Multidisciplinary Studies (Biology, Psychology, and Education). I have childcare experience as a pre-k teacher and have worked at Iowa School for the Deaf as a substitute house parent (ages range from 5-20) and therefore can use American Sign Language well. I also have a 9-year-old child as well. I'm studying as an EMT and hope to start nursing school next winter. I'm looking for part-time work, but more for backup care, date night, or overnight care due to my schedule. I do have a amount of availability but I wouldn't call my schedule regular so I wouldn't be available the same time and day every week. I also clean houses or small businesses. This includes beach houses, vacation rentals, move in/out, and deep cleaning.

Susannah babysat our 13-month-old twins for six hours on a weekend afternoon/evening. I have to say that she did an exceptional job. Handling two babies is not an easy task but Susannah took them outside to play, fed them dinner, and did the whole bedtime routine. Both twins slept great through the night and were happy the next day. Susannah followed all of our instructions and asked appropriate questions before we left. She offered to throw in a load of laundry and cleaned up after the twins went to bed. We would definitely recommend Susannah.
