About Susan

Hello! I am eager to meet you and your child! I am a retired School Counselor. I hold a B. A. in Psychology, a Master's degree in Counseling and a PA teaching certificate (Educational Specialist II), certified in Secondary School Counseling. I started my career in higher education (with some college teaching responsibilities). Following a relocation, I transitioned to the healthcare industry working in a variety of positions (staff training/development, case management, vocational counseling, marketing, business consulting). As I missed working with students, I returned to graduate school a second time to complete my PA Certificate and began working in a public school in 2010. Since retiring, I have volunteered in my local school district in the elementary schools, assisting children in gaining proficiency in reading and writing. My clearances are current. I look forward to providing the kind of support this school year that makes learning fun!
