About Susan

I am a semi-retired registered nurse with 28 years experience taking care of seniors. I have worked home care 17 years. I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring, warm. I like caring for seniors because I grew up around senior relatives and learned so much from them. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to continue to use my nursing skills and give me the flexibility I need. I'm looking for a job that will be rewarding, meaningful, and enjoyable. In my spare time, I like to read, travel, baby sit my grandchildren, take care of my elderly mother. One thing you should know about me is I'm a conscientious person who loves what I do. I am an advocate for my residents/patients and will always put their needs first. My skills include medication management, ADL assistance, and assessment. Medication management is the most important aspect of nursing especially in the senior population. My assessment skills are on point and I will communicate with doctors as needed.
