Responsibilities Provide care under the facility's laws and protocols * Take and record vital signs * Perform first aid and emergency response procedures when necessary * Prepare and serve meals * Assist residents with bathing, changing and toilet * Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry * Assist residents to be mobile by involving them in activities * Accompany residents to and from the facility for appointments and other activities

Susan worked as a caregiver for my 93 year-old Grandfather from Spring 2013 through the New Year 2014. She is still providing service on an as needed basis. Susan was caring and considerate to my grandfather's needs, she was instrumental in convincing him to shower when all he wanted to do was remain in bed. She was able to talk him into changing clothes; even though he was wearing clothes he had put on days prior. Susan did light housekeeping, even without being asked to make sure that the living environment remained clean and neat for my grandfather. I would recommend using Susan for an elderly parent or grandparent. She is stronger than she appears and has the patience to handle many of the daily needs and concerning behavior that develop as loved ones' age.
