I'm an early childhood educator, program consultant, tutor and parenting coach with experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children and tutoring kindergarten-4th grade. My previous jobs have been in daycares, child care centers, preschools, and camps starting in 1997. I provide a unique form of education and childcare for young children. I have studied the following philosophies in early childhood education and care: Educaring Approach, RIE Approach, Reggio, and Waldorf, as well as Progressivism, Perennialism, Social reconstructionism, and Behaviorism. There are many parenting styles I can be compatible with: Attachment Parenting, Positive Parenting, Conscious Parenting, Holistic Parenting, and Nurturant Parenting. I will work closely with your family to provide the curriculum and child caring methods which best fit your parenting style and the needs of your child/ren. Resume and referrals upon request.

Susan has the perfect combination of early childhood knowledge (much depth), care giving experience and parent coaching skills that allows for your child(ren) and the parents to grow and develop together. It is also important to know that she has a gift and that matters for children who need understanding and empathy around issues of separation anxiety and sensitivities. Susan has been a third parent in our family for many years and her contribution to ours and our children's lives is priceless.
