About Susan

I'd describe my personality as Compassionate, attentive and responsible. I genuinely enjoy working with the senior population because of their wisdom. I'm looking for a job that allows me to share my desire to care for others. I have done in home senior care on and off for the last 6 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, paint , play Scrabble and bird watch. I am deeply compassionate and strive to make those in my care comfortable and content and feeling safe with me should any concerns arise. My greatest quality as a caregiver is my ability to offer calm reassurance when an individual under my care has moments of confusion. I am extremely observant allowing me to immediately recognize any changes in physical, cognitive or emotional functioning.
