About Susan

I'm a retired IT professional after 30+ yrs. I have always enjoyed working with children, especially babies and preschoolers. I like to have fun and keep children busy and entertained as much as possible. I am also somewhat strict regarding behavior and following the rules/schedules set by parents. I have 1 son and have been a single mother since he was 2 years old. I was privileged to be first choice for long-term care (4-10 days) of my 2 grandsons since infant age until their pre-teens. Experience: Sunday School teacher to 3&4 y. o. 5 years at local church. Summer Camp Counselor, then Director, Camp Opportunity for under-privileged 8-14 y. o. children. Nursery Worker and Director (6-12 mo.) 8 years at another large local church where I had the nickname "baby whisperer" since I was able to calm most babies. CPR & First Aid Certified
