About Summer

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and selfless. I like working with kids because you can teach them so much at such a young age and mold them into amazing human beings. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work decent hours and still allow me time to spend with my family. I started working with kids when I was 18 years old. I worked with 4-year-olds for about 3 years. My mom opened her daycare in 2019 and I began working in the infant room and I fell in love. I have been working primarily with infants for the past 5 years and I am very passionate about it. From feeding, to diaper changes, to floor time, to working on developmental skills. It warms my heart. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, and take my kids on dates. One thing you should know about me is I am currently pregnant. My due date is September 9, 2024. My skills include being able to calm upset infants, working with children with milestones, and being able to communicate with parents.
