About Stephanie

Graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. My degrees were in Child Development, Spanish, and a minor in Diversity Studies. This is why I do charge at a higher rate. I have the educational and professional background to work with you and your family. Most of my experience is from volunteering, practicums, and internships. I have 7 nieces and nephews but have helped raise and care for 4, all under the age of 10. I've traveled to South Africa and Ecuador to volunteer in the hospital to help children and on a mission trip to assist families. I've done my practicums at Stewart Head Start, University Child Care Center and the Child Development Center in Springfield, MO. I'm comfortable with children from infant to 10+ years. I also have 2 years experience working for an educational nonprofit called City Year in the KCMO area. I was a mentor and tutor for 9th-12th graders. Worked with over 100 students daily and about 20 students per week on a more 1 on 1 basis.
