About Stephanie

Thank you for considering me as a tutor for your student. I am a dual-certified educator (in History and Special Education) with 7 full years of teaching experience. I spent my first four years as an educator teaching upper elementary and middle school, teaching all subjects at the time. I worked primarily with autistic students and students with emotional behavioral disorders in this setting, which helped me greatly develop my skills in differentiation. For the past three years, I have worked (and continue to work) as a high school history teacher. As an educator, I strive to allow learning to be accessible to all my students. My favorite part about being a teacher is seeing the "ah-ha!" moment that lights up a student's face when a concept or skills *clicks*. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your student!
