About Stephanie

I've been babysitting since I was just a kid myself! I started babysitting for my neighbors at age 12 and have been working with kiddos ever since! I've babysat for over 20 families throughout the years, while trying to raise money for my college funds. During college, I began interning at a couple of formal childcare organizations- specifically the East Boston Social Center and Salvation Army- Kroc Center. This internship experience confirmed what I already thought, I would be pursuing a career in childcare. Currently, I work at a local non-profit where one of my duties is planning and executing youth programming. Throughout the school year, I host an after-school tutoring program for kids ages 5-18. During the summertime, I host a free summer academy for kids varying in age. In addition to my work at my full time job, I also work part-time as a before school nanny to a 5-year-old.
