Starla was an absolute treasure! We are so glad we hired her to care for our 7.5 month old while we were visiting Ojai for a wedding. We needed someone for several nights (including one late night) and a bunch of daytime hours and she was incredibly flexible and available to us. She was communicative, punctual, and so sweet. Our son instantly took a liking to her and my husband and I felt at ease. She kept him on his feeding/nap/play schedule and was patient and caring when he was struggling with the time change. She brought toys and books from her home (since we didn't pack many) and even had a crib liner for us when his pacifier kept falling through the cracks of his crib. She texted us updates and pictures and kept a log of everything they did together. Many of the staff members at the Ojai Valley Inn were familiar and friendly with her which also was a plus! Beyond her exceptional caregiving skills, Starla brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. She is well-versed in child development - she engaged our son in age-appropriate activities and cuddled him when he needed to be soothed. We cannot recommend Starla highly enough. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care for our son while we were traveling was invaluable. We felt a sense of security and peace knowing he was in her care which made it possible for us to truly enjoy our vacation. She is the best!!!
