About Sophiko

I'm a 21-yr old Uni student and I love children! I study theater, both the technical and performance side and have been running cross country and track for many years, first in California and now in Kansas; I attribute my ability to keep up with some of the most energetic kids to my extensive experience in running around in circles. As the eldest child in a big family, I have many years of experience in childcare, both for family members and family friends. Being 5'1" on a good day, I like to think I get along with children all too well by blending in with them. The (in)voluntary childcare that comes along with being part of a big family has inspired in me a personal passion and dedication to children; I plan to use my theater degree for bringing theater to and reaching kids in youth detention centers, hospitals and shelters for community building purposes and as a form of art therapy. I love to cook, make art and read, and have fun outdoors! I speak Russian and Georgian fluently!
