I'm Sophia! I am looking for a family I can provide consistent care for. Also open to occasional and one time jobs. I have over 8 years caring for kids from infancy- pre-teens. In the past year, I have cared for an infant from 4mo-8mo, a 3-year-old, and also have been a summer camp guide for 4-6-year-olds. I strongly emphasize the use of gentle parenting techniques that affirm and empower children's emotions. I am very interested in and use Montessori home learning and teaching skills. I am a 250hr yoga teacher, and can offer kid-friendly yoga time. Childcare is my passion and I'm pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love to make space where the child is their own leader, while also making a fun and creative environment for them to play in.
