About Sophia

Hi there! My name is Sophie and I love children! I have plenty of experience: I was a tennis coach at the Peoria Park District for 5 years growing up, I've nannied for 3 separate families, and during Covid-19, I ran a classroom through a program called Recreation Reimagined in CA. At RR, it was my job to ensure all the children completed their virtual learning, to plan activities, crafts and games for free time, and to train new staff members. I had to adhere to strict distancing mandates and cleanliness rules to ensure each child's safety. The children ranged from pre-K to 5th grade. It was a great experience and equipped me for all types of situations with children. I will be in Peoria until mid December (after that, I'll be returning to law school).
