About Sophia

Hi my names Sophia (24 y/o) and I am excited to work with you. I am currently on a break from my civil engineering job while I take a nursing assistant class. I am debating changing careers so I can be in a profession where I work with and help people more closely. I like working with seniors because they bring a lightheartedness and joy to every day. I am currently in clinical working at a skilled nursing facility so I have been gaining experience with elder care including assisting with ADL's and providing person-centered care. Additionally I have experience with elder care as my grandma with Alzheimer's lived with my family for 5 years before she passed. I worked with the whole family to ensure she was comfortable and cared for. I really value the happiness of you and your family member and I will work with you to ensure both you and their needs are being met. I want to be a part of them feeling cared for, loved and autonomous.
