About Sophia

Although I am not a certified nursing assistant, I was supposed to be but due to Covid-19 I could not take the state boards and moved to North Carolina for college shortly afterwards. I became CPR certified for adults and infants in my CNA course as well as learned how to properly care for seniors through practicals at a nursing facility as well as aiding in my grandmothers care. I like caring for seniors because I have always loved older people. I find their stories of their life fascinating and could listen to them talk for hours about themselves. I started caring for seniors when I was a senior in high school. I went through the entire CNA course but was unfortunately not able to get certified due to COVID-19. I have experience working in clinical in the dementia unit as well as assisting my grandmother. In my spare time, I like to knit, spend time with my 2 cats (maple and cooper) and spend time with my friends.
