About Sonia

Bonjour care community! My name is Sonia, I'm a French Canadian from Montreal currently leaving in East Williamsburg. I'm a fashion design major and French tutor at The Fashion Institute of Technology. I'm very passionate about my major, but also share a passion for animal and kids. I worked with kids for many years as a babysitter but mostly as a day camp counselor. I've accumulated 6 years of experience and worked with groups of kids from the age of 2 to 13 years old. I've also had the opportunity to be a shadow for kids with special needs in an integration program. Through those years, I've developed many abilities such as patience, diligence, spontaneity as well as a sense of organization and responsibility. All and all, I would describe myself as a very open-minded and easy going individual. I love to engage in new learning experiences and discover new cultures. I also have a very creative way of thinking and love to create new games and activities.
