Sonia and I had a phone conversation, I liked her, and decided to interview her in person, we agreed on a day and time. then prior to her interview she contacted me by phone and said she had forgotten to tell me that she needed approx (4) off each month due to the fact that she does her husbands books for his business and goes out of town for that and she has a son that lives up north always. I figured family is important and I would find someone for that week each month. After the interview, which I liked her so I hired her. she then sent me the her 4 days that she needed in April, I noticed there was an extra day in the middle of the month she asked for as well. I really liked her and wanted her to be happy so I told her I would put it on the calendar for those days off. On her 1st day she was almost a 1/2 late. she said there was an accident on the road. Then she said she had arrived but the front door to our complex was locked. I went to check b/c we keep a rock in the door 24hrs a day and there is also a buzzer we can buzz her in. She was not there when I went downstairs. I called her and no answer I text her no answer. I finally reached her I told her she must be on the wrong street (mind you she found it perfectly for the interview) She then proceeded to hang up on me. I'm thinking what the heck, I called her back no answer, then she finally drove up and as she came up the stairs, I said Sonia this is not the way to start of your 1st day. She rolled her eyes, turned around walked back down the stairs out the door and that was it. I was willing to compromise give her what she needed b/c I wanted her to be happy, and she couldn't manage to be on time for her very 1st day almost 30 min late. If they do this on the 1st day when you met all their needs up front. What a disappointment.
