About Sofia

Hello! I am a kind, patient, energetic and experienced babysitter/nanny. I have been in the childcare sector for the past five years. I was a full-time nanny for three years and afterwards worked at a preschool in Atlanta. I was the lead educator for the 2-3-year-old classroom and later became the art teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in art history and studio art from Wesleyan College. I am also a certified children's yoga instructor. My mindset towards early childhood development leans toward Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. I strongly believe that children need independence, structure, art, and nature in their lives to develop into well-rounded individuals. I love all kiddos and am adept to handling a variety of needs! I ensure that children feel safe and well cared for in my presence. My preferred base pay is $20/hr for one child and +$2/hr for every additional child or pet, however I am willing to negotiate.
