About Simone

I'd describe my personality as punctual, creatively detailed, and reserved I like working with kids because being there as a teacher or mentor with the children as they grow is a blessing as much as it is rewarding. I love the lightbulb moments when they understand a new concept! I'm looking for a job that has stability and flexibility should life call for it. I started working with kids when I was about 12 as an assistant at a preschool nursery. By the age of 15 I was running the nursery bi-weekly. At 16 I began working in private homes as a nanny and babysitter. When the family needed, I was a house sitter taking care of the families pets while they were away. In my spare time, I like to read. When I'm not reading, I'm exploring or doing something outdoors! One thing you should know about me is that I love to have the kids be active outside as long as weather permits seasonally! My skills include clear communication, active listening, and responsive teaching.
