About Sienna

My name is Sienna, l'm 25 y/o and have 10 years of experience in childcare with ages 6 weeks to 12 yrs. I am a specialty nanny, tutor, and home-based teacher who focuses on independence skills, speech & communication, healthy emotional development, and environmental education. I can also assist with conventional studies tutoring such as English, Language Arts, Reading, Art, Logic, Philosophy, History, Geography, and nature-based Sciences. My childcare & teaching philosophy focuses on active engagement, hands-on learning (Montessori teaching methods), and being a loving, supportive presence. I'm happy to assist with pet caretaking, cooking meals, and light cleaning as well. I have reliable transportation, a bachelor's degree, and am CPR/ First Aid certified. I'm currently attending part-time graduate studies for a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Therapy, specializing in children's' play therapy.
