I'm an Elementary Education graduate from Texas State University and currently working on my Masters in Educational Leadership. Once reaching the age of 18, I worked in childcare until my teaching career started, such as the YMCA and Primrose. That experience alone provided knowledge on developmentally appropriate curriculum and play time materials for children of different ages. Currently, I am a 3rd grade reading teacher at HISD and COVID-19 vaccinated.

Sidney watched my 4-year old son for most of this past summer and she is an amazing person to have around your kids! She is responsible, dependable, and great with children. My son loves her so much and it was a blessing for us to have her. Sidney is honest, respectful, and flexible. She did a great job with incorporating our usual routine into my son's daily schedule. She played with him, read a ton of books, and did crafts, and helped him work on simple writing and reading skills. She was great with communicating her schedule and was willing to help us if we needed to shift the hours or needed extra help during the weekend. Overall, a great experience and I definitely recommend her!
