About Shirley

Greetings, My name is Shirley. I am a single mom of an autistic male child and experienced in working with toddlers, children, and adolescents. I have worked in 3 pre schools, hold a Master of Arts in Education, and have counseled several youth from ages 4-18 as a therapist. I am a very patient, firm, and caring, child care provider. I know how to provide a loving an caring environment where children feel safe, honored, and protected. To add, I use to be a therapist for moms, where I helped them get adjusted to parenting and have worked for a developmental psychologist for over 5 years. I love children and would embrace the opportunity to learn from them, as they are great to be around. I am dependable, trustworthy, and honest. I am a non-smoker and look forward to spending time with your child/children. I expect that my attention would be spent interacting with your youth and not housecleaning or cooking.
